Biking Blitz Ballyhoura Feb 2017

It was a great day in the end even though the weather was awful. We had 6 podium finishes! In the U8 girls Lucy McCarthy came 1st. In the U12’s Ryan McCarthy came 2nd, Donncha McDonnell came 8th and Liam Duffy came 9th.

In the U14’s Donncha Desmond came 1st, Fionn Desmond came 2nd, Darragh McDonnell came 4th, David McCarthy came 5th and Daniel Draper came 9th. In the U16 girls Amanda Draper came 1st and Miriam Draper came 2nd.

We also had two Dads racing in the baggy shorts! Denis McDonnel came 6th and Mick Duffy came 45th.

All very strong results given the numbers in each race.
